The firm is built around two primary service pillars: Fractional General Counsel and Estate & Legacy Planning. Select flat-rate business, contract, landlord/tenant, and property-related matters may also be handled when aligned with the firm's focus.
Meet Matthew R.J. Knych
Matthew R.J. Knych is the founder of Freedom Shield Legal.
Before launching the firm, Matthew served in senior legal and compliance roles, including as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He has also built and advised multiple businesses, giving him firsthand experience with the legal, financial, operational, and strategic pressures that business owners face.
Matthew's legal approach is direct, practical, and business-minded. Clients do not need vague memos or legal theory detached from reality. They need clear advice, defined next steps, and counsel who understands the weight of making real decisions.
